Thor Signs Lease with Leading Spanish Logistics Operator at Asset Outside Barcelona in Latest Logistics Activity

Spain March 22, 2022 – Thor Logis Europe, an affiliate of Thor Equities Group, a global leader in urban real estate development, leasing, and management, is pleased to announce a lease for 4,906 square meters with leading national logistics operator at strategically located asset in Castellbisbal, Barcelona.

Thor’s asset in Castellbisbal is ideally situated 15km from Barcelona’s central business district, providing efficient access to logistics users.

Thor has been actively building its European logistics portfolio and acquired over a dozen assets in 2021 and signed significant leases in recent months. In January, Thor signed a lease with leading industrial cleaning company, OXY 2KM for 3,056 square meters, at strategically located asset in Villeneuve la Garenne outside of Paris. In 2021, Thor signed a long-term lease with leading logistics operator, MoldtransGroup, at strategically located asset in Barcelona. Thor is currently developing three speculative logistics properties in Madrid totalling 30,000 square meters, one of which was pre-let to Grupo Prodesco. In addition, Thor has also acquired three new assets in the past few months, including a warehouse leased to Amazon in Galicia in the north-west of the country, and two assets in Barcelona´s prime logistic area, in the municipalities of Montcada i Reixac and El Prat de Llobregat.
