Located in the heart of Midtown, 25 W. 39th Street was built in 1907 as the Engineering Societies’ Building, a $1.5 million gift from Andrew Carnegie for engineering groups to establish a joint professional center. The Engineering Societies left 25 W. 39th St. in 1961, and the building was converted to office space.
